What is MDM?

Mobile Device Management (MDM) is a security feature used by organizations to control and manage company-owned devices. MDM enrollment restricts device usage, prevents factory resets, and enforces corporate policies.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Factory reset the device (if accessible) or boot into recovery mode
  2. During initial setup, on the Welcome screen, tap 6 times quickly on the screen
  3. QR code scanner will appear - scan the generated QR code
  4. Device will connect to WiFi and download the DPC APK
  5. If successful, device will skip MDM enrollment and proceed to setup

Success Rate: ~70% on Android 7-11, ~30% on Android 12+, varies by manufacturer security patches

📱 Required: DPC APK File

You need a Device Policy Controller (DPC) APK hosted on an accessible URL. Popular options:

  • TestDPC - Google's test DPC (search "TestDPC APK download")
  • AirWatch Agent - For Workspace ONE bypass
  • MobileIron Go - For MobileIron/Ivanti bypass
  • Custom DPC - Build your own using Android Management API

Installation Steps:

  1. Generate and download the .mobileconfig profile
  2. Transfer file to iOS device (AirDrop, email, or cloud)
  3. Open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management
  4. Tap on the profile → Install → Enter passcode
  5. Profile will be installed (supervised devices may block this)

Note: iOS MDM bypass requires additional steps. Profiles help with WiFi/VPN provisioning but won't fully bypass supervised MDM enrollment.

QR code not scanning?

  • Try different screen brightness settings

APK download fails?

  • Ensure URL is direct download link (not a webpage)
  • Verify APK is not blocked by firewall/antivirus
  • Try hosting APK on different server (GitHub, Dropbox)

Still enrolling to MDM after QR?

  • Device may have hardware-level MDM lock
  • Security patch may have blocked this method
  • Try different DPC package or custom build
